1. Consumer Product — Not Dental Treatment

ArchCustomsLAB custom appliances — including retainers, night guards, sports guards, and whitening trays — are consumer custom-fit products, not medical or dental treatment. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition; we do not provide dental care; and we do not evaluate or approve whether an appliance is appropriate for your mouth. Our review of your impression photos is a manufacturing quality check only — it is not a dental examination, diagnosis, or health assessment. These products are not a substitute for care from a licensed dentist.

Consult a licensed dentist before using any oral appliance — especially if you have pain, loose teeth, gum disease, untreated decay, bleeding or swelling, sores, jaw problems, recent dental work, implants, crowns, bridges, active orthodontic treatment, significant crowding, or any doubt about whether this product is appropriate for you. Results may vary, and home impressions may not be suitable for everyone.

Retainers are intended only to help hold teeth in their existing position; they are not designed to move, straighten, align, or correct teeth or your bite. Night and sports guards are removable protective appliances and are not represented as a treatment for bruxism, TMJ, or any medical condition.

2. Impression Accuracy

The quality of your custom appliance depends on the quality of the impressions you provide. ArchCustomsLAB reserves the right to reject impressions that are incomplete, distorted, or otherwise unsuitable. If your impressions are rejected, you will be notified with specific guidance for resubmission. We are not responsible for appliances that do not fit due to inaccurate impressions provided by the customer.

3. Kit Expiration

Impression data is retained on file for three (3) years from the date we receive your physical impressions. After this period, new impressions are required for all appliance orders. This policy exists because teeth shift naturally over time, and stale impressions can result in poorly fitting appliances.

4. Fit Adjustment Guarantee, Warranty & Refunds

Because our appliances are custom-made to your dental impressions, we are unable to accept returns. Instead, every appliance is backed by our Fit Adjustment Guarantee and craftsmanship warranty.

Fit Adjustment Guarantee (30 days). If your appliance does not fit comfortably, contact us within 30 days of delivery through your portal. We will make it right at no charge — most fit issues are corrected with a free in-lab adjustment: you return the appliance with our prepaid label and we relieve or reshape it to fit. For clear retainers, which cannot be physically ground, the guarantee is fulfilled as a free remake from the impressions on file, or by sending fresh impression material if a new impression is needed.

Craftsmanship Warranty. If your appliance arrives with a manufacturing defect — such as a crack, warp, or fabrication flaw — we will remake it free of charge within 30 days of delivery.

Limits. The guarantee covers fit and manufacturing issues only. It does not cover loss, accidental damage, normal wear, pets, or changes to your dental anatomy over time. Where a poor fit results from impressions that cannot be improved after a reasonable do-over, we may require a new impression before remaking, and we reserve the right to limit repeated remake requests for the same order.

5. Payments

All payments are processed securely via Stripe. By placing an order, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file for the applicable product price. Orders are non-refundable once the manufacturing process has begun.

6. Use of the Portal

Your account is personal to you. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Family accounts are permitted; each kit registered to your account should include the name of the intended recipient.
